VERO BEACH — One of downtown Vero Beach’s signature corridors is getting a brighter look as the city moves ahead with replacing aging streetlights along 14th Avenue.
The city submitted a request to Florida Power & Light on Aug. 18, 2025, to replace and convert streetlights along 14th Avenue between 21st Street and 19th Place. Underground work began Aug. 17, and installation of the new lights will follow.
