FORT PIERCE — For more than two decades, Mervis’ Cafe and Grille has served Cuban food from the same location in Fort Pierce, carrying on recipes and traditions that began with a family business in West Palm Beach more than 50 years ago.
For owners Ivel and Ivelisse Sierra, the restaurant is about more than food. It is a way to share Cuban culture with the community through family recipes, music and, now, a colorful mural taking shape on the building’s exterior.
