VERO BEACH — Organizers were at Sexton Plaza before sunrise Saturday, setting up for a day that would bring hundreds of spectators, families and skimboarders together for the annual Shore LB Skim Jam.
Now in its 19th year, the event has grown from two tents and about 20 competitors in its first year to more than 100 competitors and the third stop on the Shore LB Triple Crown Tour.
