More Than 30 Haitian Nationals Interdicted At Sea Near Fort Pierce

The illegal immigration crisis continues to affect Florida.

The U.S. Coast Guard says a vessel that was transporting 32 Haitian migrants was intercepted by multiple law enforcement agencies on Saturday near the Fort Pierce Inlet.

The incident was handled by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and the Coast Guard.

Fort Pierce Police say all of the migrants are in custody.
