Treasure Coast Man Sentenced For Selling Fentanyl Mixed With Cocaine

A Treasure Coast man gets six years in prison for selling fentanyl.

39-year old Patrick Ward was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to three separate sales during the summer of 2022. He was arrested in August of that year after a months-long investigation.

The U.S. Department of Justice says that Ward sold a total of 47 grams of the deadly drug in Port St. Lucie, where he lives. He drove back and forth between Miami and St. Lucie County to sell the fentanyl mixed with cocaine.

Officials say Ward had two ounces of the drugs on him when he was arrested.
