NORTH PORT, FL – We are thrilled to announce that the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail has been chosen as one of 20 outstanding projects in Florida to be featured in the Florida Recreation & Park Association’s (FRPA) annual Facility Showcase. This prestigious recognition highlights park and recreation facilities that have been built or renovated within the past two years (2022-2024) under the management of a park and recreation department.
