‘Speed kills:’ Residents seek solutions to growing traffic concerns on US 1

WPTV reported in August that a study showed many Martin County drivers said they felt unsafe while driving on U.S. Highway 1.

Now, residents had the opportunity to give their feedback on the issue Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Hoke Library in Jensen Beach.

The Martin County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) collaborated with Martin County and the city of Stuart to seek input.
