Even before Hurricane Milton reached Florida’s western shoreline on October 9, the outer bands of the storm spawned a historic outbreak of tornadoes on the state’s east coast. Per AP, meteorologists think this outbreak included at least 38 tornadoes and the National Weather Service said they issued 126 tornado warnings.
