ST. LUCIE COUNTY – The St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District is working with Florida’s Mosquito Control Incident Team (MCIRT) to conduct an aerial adulticiding mission west of the existing Mosquito Control District Boundary starting Saturday, Oct. 26 (weather permitting). These efforts help control high levels of adult flying mosquitoes caused by Hurricane Milton. Aerial treatments are a large part of this response to provide immediate relief for responders implementing ongoing recovery efforts and to protect human health.
