Volunteers unite for United Way’s 29th Annual Day of Caring

VERO BEACH – More than 500 volunteers completed 49 projects throughout Indian River County during the United Way’s Day of Caring on Oct. 26. “This year’s Day of Caring was a shining reminder of the heart and spirit of Indian River County,” Meredith Egan, United Way’s CEO, said. “Facing storm recovery, volunteers showed up with energy and care, transforming challenges into hope and camaraderie. It wasn’t just about service; it was a celebration of our community’s resilience.”
