JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) – After nine months of detours, drivers in Jupiter can once again cross the Loxahatchee River along the U.S. 1 bridge. Just in time for the new year, crews opened the western span of the bridge, allowing one lane of traffic to pass in each direction. The partial reopening happened sooner than expected, with previous projections estimating it would occur in early 2025.
