Restaurateur Jimmy Fantin will host the grand opening of Elm City Cafe in North Stuart Plaza January 18. Festivities will take over Fantin’s newest venture, nestled in the same plaza as Fantini’s Italian Restaurant, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The celebration will feature Treasure Coast’s Automobile Enthusiasts Classic Car Show from 8 to 11 a.m., with free Willoughby’s Coffee for all guests.
Elm City Cafe pays homage to Fantin’s New Haven roots, boasting a menu of comfort food favorites in a cozy space. Guests will enjoy iconic staples like the famed BECSPK (bacon, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, and ketchup), alongside other New Haven classics, including Willoughby’s Coffee, Hummel hot dogs, Foxon Park sodas, and more.
On January 21, diners can enjoy a five-course wine pairing dinner hosted by winemaker Salvatore Ferragamo Jr. down the way at Fantini’s Italian Restaurant. The exclusive event will feature an unforgettable culinary experience paired with Ferragamo’s exquisite wines for $200 per person (plus gratuity and tax).
