Residents of Stuart, on Florida’s Treasure Coast, won’t have to wait much longer for their $1.50 hot dogs and $4.99 rotisserie chickens. WPTV is reporting that the long-awaited Costco in Martin County will open on April 25th.
The 162,000-square-foot warehouse, located just a block south of Martin County High School, will feature a gas station with 18 pumps. The mixed-use development will include 378 apartments and additional retail space.
Costco, the Washington-based retailer, operates over 600 locations nationwide. This Stuart location will be Florida’s 34th store. No information about employment opportunities has been released yet.
