Deputies busy as Martin County faces deadly crash, major arrest, and high-speed DUI

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — It was a busy night in Martin County full of notable incidents.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said on Sunday night during the midnight shift — known as the 400 shift — deputies were responding to a deadly crash and making a significant theft warrant arrest out of another county.

In addition to that, a deputy stopped a motorist driving more than 110 mph through Hobe Sound who appeared intoxicated. The deputy on scene stated the suspect — identified as 27-year-old Gregory Lambert — nearly caused a traffic crash…
