FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Fort Pierce beachgoers might have to shake their piggy bank before hitting the waves as officials plan the city’s first-ever paid parking program.
The City is eliminating free city park parking at three popular parks by the end of the year as officials seek to fund infrastructure improvements.
According to the City’s news release, the parking changes will affect Jaycee Park, S. Causeway Park, and Jetty Park.
