Singer of ’90s hit arrested after fight at Palm Beach bar. He was ‘irate,’ cops say

Mark Morrison, behind one of the most recognizable (and streamed) songs of the ‘90s, is in some heavy legal trouble.

The “Return of the Mack” singer was arrested Saturday night after allegedly engaging in an altercation at Le Bar à Vin in Palm Beach, TMZ first reported .

According to the police report, obtained by the Miami Herald, cops responded to the high end club/restaurant at around 6:15 p.m. in response to a disturbance.

An officer spoke to the general manager who recounted that Morrison entered the eatery, known around town for its elegant happy hours, theme nights and live music, in a bad mood. The British entertainer began yelling and cursing, “irate” about an in-house event, said the report.

As per The Palm Beach Daily News, the problems actually started Friday night when Morrison brought a singer in to perform and kept asking for the music to be turned up. When management told him to keep the volume down, Morrison was unhappy and came back the following night “looking for a fight,” Fabrizio Riillo, the nightlife manager, told the outlet.
