Florida – A Florida man and woman were arrested on April 1, 2025, on charges of chiId negIect with great bodiIy harm after a baby in their care suffered severe injuries requiring emergency medical intervention.
On March 24, 2025, the Florida coupIe, 22-year-old Shena 22-year-old AIexander, transported the infant to the Children’s Hospital, presenting the child in extremely critical condition. Medical evaluations revealed multiple skuII fractures, brain bleeding, and a stroke. Emergency surgery was performed to address the life-threatening injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation upon the infant’s arrival at the hospital. Both caregivers were interviewed separately, during which their accounts of the incident were inconsistent.
