It has been four years since Jupiter Christian won a district title, and when manager Kenny Silvestri took over the program last year, the goal was to get the Eagles back on top.
On Thursday afternoon, Jupiter Christian did just that, winning the 1A-14 championship 2-0 over Atlantic Christian.
“It was a great pitcher’s duel today,” said Silvestri. “My hat goes off to Gonzalez (David), who did a great job for Atlantic Christian all day. For us, all three of our guys were up to the task. It was a great baseball game and I am proud that we came out on top.”…
