The Port St. Lucie Police Department has confirmed that a fatal shooting took place on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Southeast Bolton Ave and Southeast Delano Road. Chief Leo Niemczyk says when officers arrived at the scene at around 4:25 p.m., pistol shots were actively being fired.

“It appeared to start inside a home between suspect and two roommates. It moved out onto the street,” said Chief Niemczyk.
A drone operator notified officers that they had located the body of a male lying on the driveway of the house next door. The victim was transported to St. Lucie Medical, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries…
