STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A bicyclist was injured in a Stuart hit-and-run Saturday, and deputies are now searching for the driver who fled the scene.
Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) say they’re searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run that occurred around 3 p.m. Saturday.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Federal Highway just south of the Summerfield development in Stuart, per deputies.
