According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, there’s a 15% chance that some gusts could exceed 60 mph in parts of Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties. Frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall of 1–2 inches are possible, with very low—but not zero—tornado potential.
Fort Pierce, Vero Beach, and Stuart are all under a Level 1 severe weather risk. Minor flooding is possible in low-lying and urban areas, especially near the coast.
