Couple arrested for deadly stabbing near PlantBamboo
STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A couple from Okeechobee County have been arrested for a deadly stabbing near PlantBamboo on Saturday night.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) told CBS12 News on Tuesday morning that Jacob Robert Allen Stevens, 34, is under arrest for first-degree premeditated murder, while his girlfriend Meagon Nicole Brown, 39, is under arrest for accessory after the fact to a felony.
According to MCSO, they received a 911 call from the victim, later identified as 35-year-old Richard Francis Vincent Pepe of Vero Beach, on Saturday night stating he had been stabbed, and he collapsed along County Road 714, also known as Southwest Martin Highway.
