ST. LUCIE COUNTY – Two Port St. Lucie men were arrested on June 5 for an armed robbery which occurred on June 4 in a Race Trac parking lot in the 8600 block of South U.S. 1 at Savannah Club Boulevard near Port St. Lucie, according to St. Lucie County sheriff’s reports.
Josemanuel Brizei and Jaxon Diaz-Tubito, both 18, are facing charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to sheriff’s office reports. They are in the St. Lucie County jail on no bond on June 5.
The victims, both juveniles, were in the parking lot creating social media content using a sum of cash which one had recently withdrawn from a nearby ATM, according to sheriff’s office reports. While filming, one of the victims was approached by a male, later identified as Diaz-Tubito, who was seated in the driver’s seat of a nearby vehicle.
