VERO BEACH – In honor of National Pet Month, the Senior Resource Association (SRA) teamed up with Danica David of Classy Kuts Dog Salon to launch a Pet Meals on Wheels Food and Supply Drive, rallying the community to support the pets of local seniors.
The initiative aimed to ensure that seniors enrolled in the Meals on Wheels program can care for their beloved companions without financial strain.
“As a pet professional, I witness the incredible bond between pets and their owners every day,” Danica David, a local pet professional who spearheaded the effort, said. “My goal with this drive was to help ensure that seniors in our community can keep their pets well fed and happy and never have to face the heartbreaking choice between feeding themselves or feeding their pets.”…
