Fort Pierce seeks community input on downtown waterfront redevelopment plans

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The City of Fort Pierce is calling on residents, business owners, and visitors to help shape the future of its historic downtown waterfront.

Preliminary design concepts for the highly anticipated Downtown Marina Square revitalization are now available for public review, and city officials are seeking community feedback to guide the final vision.

The project aims to transform Marina Square into a vibrant, inclusive public space that reflects the character and needs of the Fort Pierce community. As part of the engagement effort, the city is also inviting the public to vote on a new logo color palette that will represent the project’s identity.

“This is a valuable opportunity for residents, visitors, and business owners to contribute their ideas to a project that will enhance the heart of Fort Pierce’s historic downtown,” according to the news release…
