PORT ST. LUCIE — A skateboarder was injured on July 12 when a man hit him and a mailbox on Southeast Melaleuca Boulevard in Port St. Lucie, according to Port St. Lucie police reports.
The man, later identified as Robert Voisine, 77, was driving on Southeast Melaleuca Boulevard when he struck the victim and a mailbox before fleeing the area, according to police reports.
A witness, who stayed on the scene to assist the victim, was able to provide officers with a make, model, license plate and description of the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle, according to police reports…
