Local author hopes to help kids overcome stage fright with new book

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — It’s a story nearly 50 years in the making, and now one South Florida woman’s lifelong dream is taking center stage. The Treasure Coast woman turned her story into a book, one that is empowering kids and adults across our area.

Author Ruth Don Shevlin hopes to inspire readers to never give up on her dreams with her first book, ‘Rebecca’s Dream That Wasn’t.” She joined the ARC Florida team this week to talk about the story behind Rebecca’s Dream.
