Toxic Blue-Green Algae Bloom poses health concerns for people in Indiantown

INDIANTOWN, Fla. (CBS12) — Another toxic blue-green algae bloom has been detected in the C-44 Canal near Indiantown, raising concerns for nearby residents and animals due to the potential health hazards.

Mark Perry, CEO of the Florida Oceanographic Society, issued a stark warning about the dangers posed by this toxin, even in small concentrations.
