FORT PIERCE – The Florida state attorney prosecuting former Fort Pierce City Manager Nicholas Mimms for official misconduct and bid tampering has added Mimms’ top deputy to the list of potential witnesses in the case involving the 2020 development of city-owned Avenue D vacant lots.
And one document listed in the state’s list of discovery exhibits points to the possibility that law enforcement may be looking at one or more other local non-profit organizations in a widening investigation.
