Port St. Lucie man sentenced to life for wife’s brutal 2022 stabbing death

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Port St. Lucie man was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday for brutally stabbing his wife 31 times in 2022, before a failed suicide attempt.

Julnord Saint Louis, 44, was found guilty of first-degree murder for killing his 48-year-old wife, Madleine Moreau, who was found deceased at her home on the 3600 block of SW Masilunas Street in Port St. Lucie with multiple stab wounds on February 26, 2022.

Court documents reveal that Saint Louis had called his stepson and left a message that he was going to kill his wife and himself, which prompted the stepson to call 911 and arrive on the scene…
