A grandmother and her teenage granddaughter were killed in a collision at a Jupiter intersection. The incident, which took place last Saturday afternoon at the juncture of Randolph Siding Road and Alexander Run, involved a 2015 Ford Escape and a 2019 Ford 250, CBS12 reported.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the Ford Escape, driven by 77-year-old Diedre North with her 16-year-old granddaughter, Jade North, as a passenger, failed to adhere to a stop sign at the intersection at 4:30 p.m. the driver of the Ford 250, a 28-year-old male, was heading north on Alexander Run, and when the Ford Escape entered the intersection without stopping the two vehicles crashed, said the vehicle rotated and hit a tree before finally resting, according to a WPBF report.
