Florida Man Allegedly Hung Dog From Tree And Beat It, Then Strangled Girlfriend For Confronting Him

A Florida man is facing charges for allegedly hanging a dog and beating it with a stick, then strangling his girlfriend when she confronted him about it, authorities said.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a residence on the 3000 block of South U.S. Highway 1 in Fort Pierce at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday for a reported disturbance. They arrived to find a woman who said she witnessed her boyfriend, identified as 59-year-old Delfino Rosale, hang one of his dogs from a tree and beat it with a stick.

The woman told deputies that when she confronted Rosale about the alleged animal abuse, he became physically aggressive and choked her with his hands. A juvenile at the residence witnessed the incident and corroborated the woman’s account, the sheriff’s office said…
