West Palm Beach to get a Trader Joe’s, and Jupiter to get a bigger, better private school

It was a stop the presses kind of moment last week when through diligent gumshoe reporting (a call to a PR person) we confirmed that the worshipped like a rockstar grocery store Trader Joe’s was planning to open in West Palm Beach.

It’s something the city has wanted for more than a decade, even launching a campaign back in 2012 for TJ’s to bring its unique products to West Palm. Instead, Joe went everywhere but West Palm. Wellington, Boca, Palm Beach Gardens. But then; Helllooooo pandemic! Now West Palm and Palm Beach are top achievers in adding centi-millionaires to their census tracts and Trader Joe’s has come around like Blane in “Pretty in Pink”, although I was team Duckie. It’s unclear when the new TJ’s will open. But there is speculation, of course…
