HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A domestic dispute in Hobe Sound ended with a stabbing, a hospital visit, and an arrest that now includes a federal immigration hold.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies responded to a mobile home on SE Federal Highway over the weekend after a pregnant woman reported being repeatedly beaten by 19-year-old Noel Gerardo Niz-Marroquin. During the assault, the woman said she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Niz-Marroquin.
Both individuals were transported to the hospital — Niz-Marroquin for non-life-threatening stab wounds and the victim for observation, according to the news release…
