PORT ST. LUCIE – Foul play is not suspected in the death of an 81-year-old man who was found at River Place Park in the 600 block of Northeast Bayou Country Lane, Port St. Lucie on Aug.22, according to police reports.
Police responded to the park at about 6 p.m., Aug. 22 for reports an elderly male who was found deceased on a wooded trail.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the 81-year-old male deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers also located a handgun next to his body, according to police reports…
