Bodies of people killed in u-turn crash still unclaimed by families

The bodies of the three people killed in the now-infamous illegal u-turn crash are still being held in the medical examiner’s office pending requests from family.

The three people killed in the August 12th crash – 37-year-old Faniola Joseph, 54-year-old Rodrigue Dor, and 30-year-old Herby Dufresne, are still being held at the St. Lucie County Medical Examiner’s Office in Florida.

According to Miami Herald, no family members or funeral homes have signed release forms for the bodies of the three victims. The Florida Highway Patrol policy is to provide alerts and updates for family members on the retrieval of their loved ones. A spokesperson for FHP says that a corporal and a victim advocate have been assigned to the case, but did not provide further information on contact with the families…
