STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — Firefighters in Stuart are battling brush fires due to a series of lightning strikes brought on by recent storms.
The Stuart Police Department says the brush fires are in the area of Lexington Lakes and Central Parkway. Police say at this time there is no threat to homes, businesses or other structures in the area.
Residents and those driving vehicles may see smoke, but the police department wants ensure its community that fire crews are on the scene and working the situation…
