Port St. Lucie man charged after entering two homes, assaulting residents

PORT ST. LUCIE – A man who entered two Port St. Lucie homes on Aug. 29 armed with a knife was taken into custody without incident by Port St. Lucie police, according to police reports.

Police responded to a home in the 2000 block of Southwest Marblehead Way at about 6:30 p.m., for reports of a man, described as black and carrying a knife, going into two neighboring homes.

Upon arrival, officers found the homeowner of one of the homes was able to disarm the suspect, later identified as Clarence Orange, 44, of Port St. Lucie, and detain him inside the laundry room, according to police reports…
