Knife-wielding man in alleged crisis invades Port St. Lucie homes, disarmed by homeowner

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A man in an alleged crisis, believing someone was after him, was arrested after he entered two Port St. Lucie homes while armed with a knife.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said that police responded to a report of a man armed with a knife who entered two separate homes in the 2000 block of SW Marblehead Way at around 6:30 p.m. on August 29.

When police arrived, they reported that one of the homeowners had managed to disarm and contain the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Clarence Orange, in a laundry room until officers could take him into custody…
