STUART – The Community Redevelopment Board voted unanimously Sept. 15 to recommend approval of a conditional use permit and three waivers to the form-based code so Seacoast Bank can build a modern 58,647-square-foot corporate headquarters and parking garage between Federal Highway and Colorado Avenue to replace its current facility occupied since 1961.
Development Director Jodi Kugler introduced the request that evening.
“Tonight I’ll be presenting a major conditional use petition and a concurrent major development plan application for a project to be known as Seacoast Bank Headquarters,” she said. “The 8.13-acre subject parcel is located at the southeast corner of South Colorado Avenue and Kindred Street. The parcel is situated within the Creek District Overlay and is located within the city’s community redevelopment area. In 2023, the City Commission adopted the form-based code, which this development is being reviewed under.”…
