FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — St. Lucie County firefighters had to battle the flames of a fully engulfed abandoned home on Friday morning.
According to the St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD), at about 3 a.m., fire crews responded to a fully engulfed abandoned home near US-1.
Crews from the fire department launched a defensive attack that contained the blaze and protected the nearby surrounding homes. The home ended up collapsing due to the fire. No one was injured as a result of the fire…
