JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — Police say a man demanding Oxycodone at a Jupiter clinic threatened staff with a gun, insisting he was “allowed to open carry.”
On Friday, officers with the Jupiter Police Department (JPD) say they were dispatched to Jupiter Wellness Center on the 300 block of S. Old Dixie Hwy for reports of an aggressive patient armed with a gun.
A witness in the waiting area reportedly told deputies that the suspect, later identified as 67-year-old Louis Cappelli, aggressively kicked open the pharmacy door, waving around a holstered firearm in his hand…
