WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Law enforcement leaders from across South Florida will gather on Tuesday at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to announce the results of “Operation Viper”, a multi-agency initiative targeting violent crime, drug trafficking, and illegal firearms.
According to the PBSO news release, the operation, which ran from mid-July through September, focused on high-impact enforcement across West Palm Beach, Martin County, and St. Lucie County. Officials from the FBI Miami Field Office, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Martin County Sheriff’s Office, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, and several municipal police departments collaborated to identify and dismantle criminal networks contributing to violence in the region…
