Jupiter drivers warned of lane closures after 6 inches of rain flood roads

JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — The Town of Jupiter is alerting drivers to be cautious during their morning commute on Friday morning following heavy rainfall.

Officials said that over six inches of rain fell on Thursday, leading to significant flooding in the area.

As a result, the Town states that both directions of A1A near the Maltz Theater on East Indiantown Road are currently closed. Additionally, one northbound lane of US 1 near Ocean Way is also affected by the flooding…
