A Florida landlord is facing charges for allegedly entering her tenant’s room and assaulting him while her armed companion threatened to shoot if he fought back, authorities said.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a residence on the 5200 block of Seagrape Drive in Fort Pierce at around 10:42 p.m. Saturday night for a reported burglary and assault. The victim told responding deputies that his landlord had unlawfully entered the room he rents in the residence and battered him.
