A 19-year-old threw a rock at an ICE vehicle, shattering the rear window, after agents arrested his dad, Florida police said.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, as Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the U.S. Border Patrol were conducting an operation at a convenience store on Village Parkway, Port St. Lucie police said in an Oct. 23 news release.
“While federal agents were making an arrest, 19-year-old Pasqual Velasquez Martin (the son of the arrestee) decided to throw a large rock at the occupied agent’s vehicle as it was driving by, shattering the rear back window,” police said. “Velasquez Martin fled the scene but didn’t get far, as multiple agents were in the area and took him into custody without incident. Thankfully, no officers or agents were injured.”…
