MARTIN COUNTY – A woman who claimed that a Martin County Sheriff’s Office patrol car hit the car she was driving was cited for improper backing and giving false information to a police officer, according to sheriff’s office reports.

In the body cam released by Martin County Sheriff’s Office, it shows the unnamed woman driver backing up until she hits the patrol vehicle. The incident happened at about 11:45 p.m., on Oct. 22.

The woman can be heard saying, “you hit me, what are you talking about?” when the officer said she backed into him…
