Nauticus Robotics, Inc. announced plans to conduct fall and winter testing of its Aquanaut® subsea robots at the Advanced Ocean Systems (AOS) lake facility in Stuart, Florida, as part of its efforts to expand capabilities in leak detection, digital twin solutions, mapping, and autonomous fleet interoperability.
The first Aquanaut robot arrived at the AOS site in October and is undergoing pre-deployment checks. A second robot, currently being evaluated at Nauticus’ Louisiana facility following offshore operations during the 2025 summer season, is also slated to join the Stuart facility. The company further plans to assemble a third Aquanaut for expanded testing use.
The testing program aims to validate applications of Nauticus’ ToolKITT™ software and Aquanaut platforms in areas including environmental monitoring, 3D asset modeling, inland and coastal surveys, and scalable autonomy for defense and commercial fleets. Additional objectives include demonstrating integration with third-party uncrewed surface vehicles and conducting customer-facing demonstrations to drive adoption and investment.
The testing initiative is designed to prepare the first two Aquanauts for revenue-generating contracts in 2026…
