Fort Pierce Residents Invited to Groundbreaking for Indian River Drive Corridor Improvements November 6

The City of Fort Pierce will hold a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Indian River Drive Corridor Improvements Project. The event is scheduled for November 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 600 N. Indian River Drive in Downtown Fort Pierce. The project has a budget of $10.25 million and will reconstruct a section of Indian River Drive. The goal is to improve safety, mobility, and access for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The project includes full roadway reconstruction between Seaway Drive and Marina Way. It will add on-street parking, upgrade bridges, and improve pedestrian and streetscape features.
