VERO BEACH — With a federal freeze on SNAP benefits creating uncertainty for many families in Indian River County, a local nonprofit is offering vouchers to help keep food on the table.
United Against Poverty will begin distributing vouchers for its Member Share Grocery Program on Monday at its center at 1400 27th St. in Vero Beach. The vouchers are available to residents affected by the freeze on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
